The 52 week project challenge

I've never been the one for setting goals at the beginning of each year. Sure, I set goals for myself, but they are usually vague and hollow. This year, I'm trying something new. I'm setting a yearly goal for myself.

Why am I doing this? I've noticed that I seem to drift. I'll start a project and get bored. Or, I'll focus on one thing way too long. Sometimes I find myself overanalyzing an idea, feature, design choice, etc (hell, I'm even overanalyzing this post). I think the reason is because I'm lacking an overall goal.

In 2015, I'm going to do a 52 week challenge.

Each week I'll build or design something new. The goal is to snap myself out of the dreaded and paralyzing "perfection" mode. Each project will focus on either design, development or marketing. Other than that, I'm leaving the "guidelines" loose.

My first deadline is 1/9. Then, each Friday, I'll release something new.

If this sounds interesting, follow along. Sign up below and I'll keep you up to date. If you want to join in, let me know. If there is enough interest, I'll start up some type of "support" group so we stay on track.

Let's do this!

Update. The list below are my completed projects:
